Strange Web App Behavior

There are four types of strange Web App behavior: Hana Bugs, Web App Bugs, Networking Issues and Expected, though Strange Behavior.

Hana Bugs: Our software is not perfect.  So bugs happen.  Let us know by visiting the Hana Support page at AllOutSoftware.com if you cannot classify it below.  [Let us know, too, if you can't be bothered, don't have time, or think that is our job, not yours!  We need to know these are out there!}

Web App Bugs: Their software is not perfect either.  But to confirm this, you will have to reproduce the bug in Safari AND one other browser.  Safari will confirm the problem is NOT in Hana and another browser, such as Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer.  This will confirm the problem is not in Webkit, the rendering engine that Hana uses.

Networking Issues: Sometimes your connectivity, the status of the internet or your LAN or sun spots will cause weird behavior.  This will manifest itself when you expect data to goto or come from the web.  In this case, try to save your work, if not, copy it out and paste into another app and save your work locally for later.  Try again later.  If the problem recurs without exception and is not a problem in any other browser, it is probably a bug in Hana.  Let us know by visiting the Hana Support page at AllOutSoftware.com.

Expected, though Strange Behavior: Hana is designed to help you be focused.  As such, it can be configured to disallow links to outside websites.  This can be a problem if the Web App uses more than one domain name and top level domain name combination.  (Such as gmail.com and mail.google.com)  This is expected and can be alleviated by adding the additional base URLs to the web app in the preferences.
