This "How To" is for adding an Alternate Domain to an existing Web-app. This can be used for adding to a new Web App. You may need to visit the How to Add Web App topic first.
First, from the Web-App menu, select Edit Web-App.
Second, in the Alternate Domains field, enter each alternate domain separated by commas.
Third, Hit Enter twice OR click Okay.
That's it!
